The gear listed below represents products I've used extensively and loved... with a few wish list items thrown in that have been highly recommended to me by parents I personally know and admire.
These products will make your life easier and your children happier, while tossing a small commission my way to help me deliver more value to families.
You need a good quality 6 to 8-inch-thick foam twin mattress. We bought a Serta from Sears. A good mattress allows your toddler to rest well, which in turn allows you to rest well. Place the mattress on the floor so your toddler can feel independent and play on it during the day. Add pillows around the edges when they fall asleep, so your child is less likely to roll off. Don't be suckered by cheap online mattress deals.
It allows you to explain exactly why all English words are spelled the way they are.
It provides easy-to-follow activities that make learning fun.
I can't recommend this enough.
Our baby's prefer these glass bottles. They reduce colic, spit-up, burping and gas. In my own experience, babies that are used to breast feeding, are more receptive to glass bottles than plastic bottles, possible because the weight of a glass bottle in their mouth more closely resembles the weight of a natural breast.
